The fun-loving members of the Pawling Shakespeare Club, one of the oldest Shakespeare clubs in America, celebrating the club’s 127th year of uninterrupted operation, held their annual holiday luncheon at noon on December 8 th at the JCC in Sherman, Connecticut.       This year, the Pawling Shakespeare Club celebrated 126 years of continuous operation with a joyous holiday celebration in the beautifully renovated barn at the home of Marie DiLorenzo, the club’s former president. Gather Round the Table, one of Pawling’s newest not-for-profits, held its first dinner for those in Pawling who experience food insecurity. The Thanksgiving dinner, held on Sunday, November 24th at the Lathrop Center, attracted 100 reservations. Many had their meals delivered to them by one of the 45 community volunteers who generously donated their time to this event. Michael Alexander, the PRC’s new Executive Director, recently announced a new service that has been secured by the Resource Center for the benefit of all Pawling residents.
