The mission of the Pawling Historical Society is to bring the past rich heritage of the Pawling area to life. To that end, we maintain our historic buildings, sponsor programs, and collect, preserve and present for public viewing books, papers, and artifacts.  Our buildings are the John Kane House,  Oblong Friends Meeting House and the Quaker Hill Museum at Akin Hall.
