This special event honors the life and love of Gary B. Love — an avid golfer, beloved friend, and passionate animal advocate. Gary’s memory continues to inspire our work every day, and this outing is our way of carrying forward his commitment to helping animals find their happily ever afters.
A Full Day of Festivities
- 8:30 AM – Check in and enjoy a hearty hot breakfast.
- 9:30 AM – Shotgun start for 18 holes of golf on one of the Hudson Valley’s premier courses.
- On-course contests like Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and our crowd-favorite Putting Challenge.
- Raffles & prizes throughout the day — from golf gear to local experiences.
- On-course beverage service to keep the fun flowing between swings.
- Tasty box lunch to enjoy right on the course between holes.
- Wrap up the day with a cocktail hour, celebratory dinner, awards ceremony, and heartwarming stories about Gary and the animals whose lives are changed thanks to this event.

Happy Life Animal Rescue has proudly been a part of the Pawling community since 2020, when we moved into the old Pawling Animal Hospital. From our home base, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with local residents, businesses, and volunteers to rescue and rehome thousands of dogs and cats. We’re honored to be part of such a supportive community, and this event is one of our favorite ways to bring people together for a shared cause.
